Tech Tips:
In the interest of safety, all participating vehicles will be required to pass a basic safety inspection. The inspection will proceed as follows:

  • Owners and drivers are responsible to ensure the vehicles they operate are safe!
  • Unless specified otherwise, ALL VEHICLES MUST be insured and registered! Competing vehicles may be required to complete a road test to prove road worthiness prior to competition.
  • Remove all clutter from inside vehicle, including driver's floor mat.
  • Vehicles must have functional seat belts.
  • Make sure all fasteners are tight-all lug nuts, battery hold downs, seats etc MUST be secure!
  • Brakes-how obvious is this? We WILL check to see that your vehicle has acceptable braking.
  • Tires-again, please use common sense.
  • Vehicles must have a radiator overflow jug.
  • Vehicles must not leak any fluids onto the racing surface.
  • In addition to these items, tech officials will check for other miscellaneous safety hazards.
