Competitors will be required to
participate in harmony with the following guidelines:
HAVE FUN - the purpose of these events is for everyone's enjoyment-
the spectators, as well as yours and ours. Sportsmanlike conduct is
expected at all times!!!
All competitors must show us their valid driver's license.
All vehicle occupants must wear a helmet during competition.
All vehicle occupants must wear seat belts.
Event organizers reserve the right to refuse or revoke admission privileges
as they see fit.
BE PREPARED to follow instructions from on-site personnel regarding all
on-track procedures. If not see rule #5.
The organizing committee will settle all disputes. All decisions will
be final.
NO IMPAIRED DRIVING-any competitor suspected of being intoxicated will
be ejected. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
SAFETY FIRST-all competitor vehicles will be required to pass a safety
inspection before competing.
ALL competitors will sign a WAIVER indemnifying the organizers of all
loss or damage, however caused.
NO STUNTING – All competitors must abort run if four wheels go outside
of racing course or if you spin out and are facing the wrong way. Abort run
means you slow down and exit the course.
Any competitor that does not adhere to the above rules may be disqualified
for the duration of the event and may be banned for one year from all Street
Wheeler sanctioned events.
Tech Tips:
In the interest of safety, all participating vehicles will be required to
pass a basic safety inspection. The inspection will proceed as follows:
Owners and drivers are responsible to ensure the vehicles they operate
are safe!
Unless specified otherwise, ALL VEHICLES MUST be insured and registered!
Competing vehicles may be required to complete a road test to prove road worthiness
prior
to competition.
Remove all clutter from inside vehicle, including driver's floor mat.
Vehicles must have functional seat belts.
Make sure all fasteners are tight-all lug nuts, battery hold downs, seats
etc MUST be secure!
Brakes-how obvious is this? We WILL check to see that your vehicle has
acceptable braking.
Tires-again, please use common sense.
Vehicles must have a radiator overflow jug.
Vehicles must not leak any fluids onto the racing surface.
In addition to these items, tech officials will check for other miscellaneous
safety hazards.
