Cruise Control:
Once again this weekend will kick-off with the Friday Night Controlled Cruise
on 3rd Ave S. from 7- 10 pm.
The route will extend from 4th St S, to 20 St
S along 3rd avenue to allow for more participants. Also this year we will
be improved turn around area’s
for increased traffic flow. There will also be two marshalling areas, one
at the junction of 18th St and 3rd avenue and the second at the Sears parking
lot located at the West end of Park Place mall. New this year, found in Galt
Gardens will be the Family Fun Center, brought
to you by the Downtown Lethbridge Business Revitalization Zone (BRZ). As
well as the family fun center, A & B Sound will be sponsoring a “ Sound
Off” for all the stereo junkies. If you have more “Boom-Boom” than “Vroom-Vroom” the
park is the place for you. Participants of the Cruise must first register
with the Street Wheelers; registration tent will be located in the Bully’s
Grandstand Parking lot, south of the Exhibition Grounds.
NOTE: Traffic acts, and Liquor laws will be in effect
for all participants and spectators at all times.
The “Controlled Cruise” organizing
