THANK YOU TO THE 2016 STREET WHEELERS SPONSORS! WE APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT!

100 Foot Dash Introduction

The Street Wheelers encourage you to bring your classic muscle car, hot rod, import tuner, or pro street unit to our 100 foot dash, show us what you've got! Registration for the 100 Foot Dash opens at 5:00 PM Friday, and is limited to the first 150 vehicles, so don't be late.

How fast is it?

When you're talking about muscle cars, hot rods, import tuner cars, etc., no other performance measurement defines the North American car scene quite like 1/4 mile drag-strip E.T.'s (elapsed times.) Any drag racer will tell you that winning a drag race is all about the launch. The first 60-100 feet of any drag race will typically decide the outcome. Since there's no drag strip around Lethbridge, the Street Wheelers have created the 100 foot dash event. It is the closest legal, thing to real drag racing in Lethbridge.

What is the 100' Dash?

Vehicles are timed across a 100' distance, using electronic timing equipment. Vehicles begin the course from a standing start, and upon the appropriate signal accelerate as quickly as possible to the finish line. Vehicles are grouped into classes depending on what variety of performance enhancing equipment is installed on the vehicle. Vehicles will qualify in their respective class by posting one of the five fastest ET's in their class, during qualifying rounds. The five fastest vehicles in each class will then proceed to a final round, where the fastest ET of the round will determine the winner in each class.

100 Foot Classing
Participating vehicles in the 100' dash will be classed as follows.
Class Structure
